The latest installment of ABC’s The Bachelor finds Colton Underwood looking for a future Mrs. Underwood. Tuscaloosa Alabama’s very own Hannah Brown is one of the contestants on the show. Hannah met Colton right out of the limo, cheering Roll Tide, right before she entered the mansion.
The other ladies cheering for Colton’s attention are bound to collide, as tempers are beginning to flare in this competitive show.
The first one on one date involved Hannah and Colton sharing a hot tub in the desert , after a horseback ride. The beginning of this date was filled with painfully awkward silences. I felt bad for both parties involved. Apparently the warm temperatures made Hannah somewhat off her game, she seemed nervous and a little confused.
Hopefully this won’t be the last time we see our Tuscaloosa native, showing her best Miss Alabama smile to all of the Bachelor Nation. The second part of the couple’s date seemed like smooth sailing , and Hannah began opening up a little more. Colton decided to give Hannah a second chance with a first date rose. The dinner setting involved fireworks and an awkward toast. The date concluded with Hannah’s part of the toast, which had me laughing loudly
Hannah: Let’s make a toast to. . . .’ Okay! And I’ll put a bunch of words that sound good, that are real, that are real, real words. Okay. (More laughter) Okay. Let’s make a toast to — first, it’s my birthday, so to this amazing day. And, um . . . yeah. Roll tide.”
and just thinking how nervous someone could be, especially knowing millions of people would be viewing this. I’m sure nerves play a huge role in what is said or not said in the show. Also, clever producer editing make for good television. I really believe Hannah is a great person and has a sweet soul. I am cheering for Hannnah Brown.
Our Crimson Tide lost a heartbreaking National Championship game this year, but hopefully Hannah Brown will score big points with Colton. Let’s continue to watch our hometown girl Hannah in this edition of ABC’s The Bachelor and remember every situation , whether awkward or not can be handled with a big #RollTide .
